3 Big Thanksgiving Day Games

The New England Patriots (8-2) are tied for leagues best record and their schedule will be easing up this Thursday as they travel to Detroit to face the Detroit Lions (2-8).  This will be the first game to start off Thanksgiving Day, it will air at 10:30 MST.  The Patriots have won 19 of their past 20 regular-season games against NFC teams and this is the Lions 71st Thanksgiving Day Game.  Tom Brady, Patriots Quarterback will have to have close eye out for Ndamukong Suh on the Lions Defensive Line.  As for Fantasy Football owners, you might want to play Tom Brady this week against a not so good Detroit secondary.
Game 2 of Thanksgiving Day will be the New Orleans Saints (7-3) traveling to Dallas to face the Cowboys (3-7) as John Kitna tries to lead the newly coached Cowboys to another victory.  Saints are looking for revenge on the Cowboys from last year's loss.  A huge plus for the Saints is the star running back Reggie Bush might be returning.  Saints head Coach Sean Payton says he feels "pretty good" about Bush's return.  This game will be coming on FOX at 2:15 MST.
The Night game that will air on NFL Network, that all might not be able to see will be Batman & Robin's Bengals vs the New York Jets.  The Jets are the other team with the league best record of 8-2 and Cincinnati has struggled all season long with a 2-8 record.  Cincinnati is coming off there worse loss of the season probably.  Being up by 21 last week against the Bills, TO's last team, and giving up 28 unanswered and coming out with a loss has been the story of the season for the them.  As for the J-E-T-S Jets, Mark Sanchez has been living up to all the hype and Santonio Holmes has scored two game-winning touchdown in the past two weeks.
Be sure to check out the AFC West laeding Chiefs as they take on the Seattle Seahawks as well.

  1. As a Cowboys fan I was obviously upset at the outcome of their annual Thanksgiving day game. Just when I was gaining a little hope for the season with Jason Garrett at the helm, the cowboys blow another game and continue on with, probably the most disappointing season ever, considering all the preseason hype they had surrounding them. The funny thing is that I had a feeling they were gonna choke. Good teams know how to put a game away, and obviously the Cowboys aren't a good team. There's always next season.
